19th November, 2022 – Andrew tweets the following: “i want to organize an 11 v 11 pick up soccer game at basel ⚽️ beer, custom jerseys for everyone, NFT rewards for player of the match and highest goalscorer (me) if anyone is super serious about organizing or sponsoring this with me lmk”

The group chat was made and the adventure began. Jordy & @laurenmoberg stepped up to help organise logistics and how the event looked meanwhile our honourable mentions go to: @iamdos @cryptofemi @blackbull_xyz @kenobidesigns @loxley_eth @olivermaroney @tobylasso @craysecurity for being the amazing people helping us along the way, we will never forget our roots. Andrew lead through the day, bringing everyone together with the help of his make-shift crew. With a huge rain storm just an hour before, 25 people came through to enjoy a full sided game for a full 90 minutes making some amazing memories along the way.

The people were tired, the heat was burning and where else should we head but the bar? We flooded into a local irish bar, doing shots and playing card roulette (sorry harry) to becoming closer than we could have ever imagined. At this very bar, the idea was born that Web3 FC could be much, much more.
